Partnering with the World’s Best School for Environmental Action!

UAE

We’re proud to announce a landmark collaboration with The Arbor School Dubai, recently named the World’s Best School for Environmental Action 2025, and the first school in the UAE to earn this global distinction.

Recognised for their pioneering approach to eco-literacy, Arbor is now taking the next step in turning environmental learning into measurable, real-world impact. To support this mission, the school has partnered with Watt Footprint to transform world-class environmental education into world-class energy performance and tangible carbon reduction.

This initiative is delivered in close collaboration with Enterprise Ireland MENA and Arbor’s forward-thinking leadership team, bringing together expertise in sustainability, education, and innovative energy management.

What We’re Delivering

Our comprehensive energy and sustainability programme includes:

🟢 Building an ISO 50001-aligned energy management system
🟢 Deploying smart metering and the Watt Footprint Energy Platform for real-time energy insights
🟢 Running the Watt Watchers programme, delivering regular energy audits to uncover savings and cut carbon
🟢 Supporting Arbor’s broader sustainability and decarbonisation roadmap
🟢 Embedding energy awareness into the student learning experience

At its core, Watt Footprint empowers schools with the systems, data, and actionable insights needed to reduce consumption, lower operating costs, and accelerate their journey toward decarbonisation.

Scaling Impact Across the UAE

This partnership is more than a single school project, it’s a model for what’s possible across the region. As more schools in United Arab Emirates set ambitious sustainability goals, we’re excited to help turn those commitments into measurable energy savings, lower utility bills, and meaningful emissions reductions.

The Arbor School is setting the benchmark for environmental action in education. We’re honoured to support them and look forward to expanding this impact across the UAE and beyond.
