Our Story

Founded by Paul O’Reilly and Paul Mahon in 2020, with a mission to disrupt the global energy industry.

OUR STORY

Who are we?

We began in Ireland in 2020, the result of a unique partnership between two founders from different generations- one bringing decades of industry experience, the other a sharp, future-focused digital edge. Together, they saw a better way to engage with energy- not as a utility, but as an opportunity for change. From their Irish base, they’ve built a global platform that challenges how energy is understood, tracked, and used. Paul O’Reilly and Paul Mahon aren’t just part of the energy conversation, they are reshaping it, and proving that when experience meets innovation, real disruption happens. Watt Footprint’s impact is increasing globally- driven by a deep respect for where we started, and an even bolder vision for where we are going.
